<p dir="RTL"><strong>زمینه و هدف</strong>: امروزه جهان با پدیده­ ای به نام سالمندی جمعیت مواجه شده است<span dir="LTR">.</span> در این رابطه ارزیابی وضعیت سلامت و رفتارهای ارتقاء دهنده سلامت آن­ها به عنوان گروه در معرض خطر جامعه از اهمیت ویژه ­ای برخوردار است. این مطالعه دیدگاه سالمندان ساکن جنوب استان کرمان نسبت به سلامت خود و رفتارهای مرتبط با آن را در سال 1392مورد بررسی قرار داده است.</p>
<p dir="RTL"><strong>روشها:</strong> پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه توصیفی تحلیلی است که در سال 1392 بر روی 710 نفر از سالمندان شهرستان­ های جنوبی استان کرمان با روش نمونه­ گیری چند مرحله ای بوسیله پرسشنامه محقق ساخته که روایی آن با روش تعیین محتوا و پایایی آن با روش آزمون مجدد تایید شده انجام و در پایان داده ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و استنباطی توسط نرم افزار<span dir="LTR">SPSS </span> نسخه 18 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند.</p>
<p dir="RTL"><strong>نتایج: </strong>از بین نمونه های مورد مطالعه تعداد 359 نفر (50.6 درصد) از سالمندان مورد بررسی زن و مابقی مرد بودند. میانگین سنی آن­ ها 13.25±72.12 سال بود. شایع­ ترین شکایات و مشکلات جسمی و روانی در سالمندان به ترتیب مربوط به اختلالات اسکلتی- عضلانی (57.5 درصد)، اختلالات خواب (39.9 درصد)، مشکلات قلبی و فشار خون بالا (35.6 درصد) بود. از نظر رفتارهای ارتقاء دهنده سلامت، درصد کمی از سالمندان فعالیت فیزیکی منظم (18.7 درصد)، کنترل قند خون دست کم هر شش ماه یک<span dir="LTR">­</span>بار (23.2 درصد)، مصرف روغن نباتی مایع (33.8 درصد) و استفاده از سبزی و میوه در رژیم غذایی روزانه (36.6 درصد) داشتند. از نظر ارتباط بین سن و فعالیت­های ضروری زندگی، شکایات و مشکلات جسمی و رفتارهای ارتقاء دهنده سلامتی بجز در فعالیت­ های ضروری زندگی، اختلالات بینایی و شنوایی تفاوت آماری معنی­ داری وجود داشت (0.05><span dir="LTR">p</span>).</p>
<p dir="RTL"><strong>نتیجه­ گیری:</strong> نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که وضعیت سالمندان مورد بررسی در اختلالات اسکلتی-عضلانی، اختلالات خواب، مشکلات قلبی و فشار خون بالا و انجام برخی رفتارهای ارتقاء دهنده سلامت مطلوب نبوده و نیازمند اجرای برنامه­ های آموزش بهداشت و حمایت­ های اجتماعی- اقتصادی می­ باشند.</p>
<p><strong><em>Background & Aims:</em></strong><em> Nowadays the world is faced with the phenomenon of population aging. Assessing health status and health promoting behaviors in elderly as a high risk population have especial importance. Therefore, this study carried out to assess the viewpoints of elderly about</em><em> their health</em><em> and its related behaviors in south of Kerman province in 1392.</em></p>
<p><strong><em>Methods:</em></strong><em> This study is a cross- sectional study with descriptive- analytical approach that has been done upon 710 elderly people in a south town of Kerman province in 2013 by combined sampling (random and systematic), through a researcher made questionnaire that approved its validity and reliability with test-retest method. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics and chi-square tests by SPSS v18.</em></p>
<p><strong><em>Results:</em></strong><em> Findings showed there were 359(50.6%) females and 351(49.4%) males with the mean age of 72.12</em><em><span dir="RTL">±</span></em><em>13.25 years. The most common physical and psychological complaints and problems in the elderly is related to musculoskeletal disorders (57.5%), sleep disorders (39.9%), cardiac problems and hypertension (35.6%), respectively</em><em>.</em><em> In terms of health promoting behaviors, the following results obtained: regular physical activity (18.7%), checking blood sugar in at least every six month (23.2%), consumption vegetable oil (33.8%) and consumption of vegetable and fruits in daily diet (36.6%). There is a statistically significant difference among </em><em>age and</em> <em>physical complaints and problems and health promoting behaviors (p<0/05) whereas among </em><em>daily tasks</em><em>, visual and hearing disorders, no </em><em>statistically significant</em><em> difference was observed.</em></p>
<p><strong><em>Conclusion:</em></strong><em> Results of this study showed that skeletomuscular disorders, sleep disorders, cardiac problems, hypertension, and accomplishment of some health promoting behaviors is not in optimal condition. This requires health education programs and socioeconomic support. </em></p>
