زمینه و هدف: بار مراقبتی، رضایت از زندگی را در میان مراقبان کودکان مبتلابه صرع تضعیف می‌کند، راهبردهای مقابله‌ای مسئله‌محور یکی از فاکتورهایی است که می‌تواند به‌عنوان یک فاکتور محافظتی در مقابله با بار مراقبتی عمل کند؛ اما مکانیسم‌های اساسی بالقوه این ارتباط هنوز ناشناخته است. بر این اساس، این مطالعه باهدف بررسی اثرات بالقوه مقابله مسئله محور در رابطه بین بار مراقبتی و رضایت از زندگی انجام شد.
روش ها: این مطالعه به روش توصیفی- همبستگی در دو بیمارستان آموزشی وابسته به دانشگاه‌های علوم پزشکی شیراز و لارستان انجام شد. جامعه آماری شامل مراقبین خانوادگی کودکان زیر 18 ساله مبتلابه صرع بودند که از بین آن‌ها تعداد 184 نفر به‌صورت نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای پژوهش، پرسش‌نامه بار مراقبتی، پرسش‌نامه رضایت از زندگی و پرسش‌نامه مقابله مسئله محور می‌باشد. تحلیل رگرسیون مدل ماکرو پراسس هایس (مدل4) و نرم‌افزار SPSS ویرایش27 انجام شد.
نتایج: میانگین سنی والدین 8/87±36/51 و برای کودکان 5/13±7/23 بود. نتایج تحلیل مسیر نشان داد که بار مراقبتی اثر مستقیم منفی و معناداری بر رضایت از زندگی داشت (0/28 β =-). همچنین، بار مراقبتی اثر مستقیم منفی و معناداری بر مقابله مسئله‌محور داشت (0/33β =-). درنهایت اثر غیرمستقیم بار مراقبتی بر رضایت از زندگی از طریق مقابله مسئله‌محور نیز معنادار بود (0/01 p<،0/03- =β).
نتیجه گیری: تأمین‌کنندگان مراقبت ازجمله پرستاران می‌توانند با انجام مداخلاتی درزمینه راهبردهای مقابله‌ای مثبت و چگونگی استفاده از راهبردهای کاهش بار مراقبتی با تکیه بر چارچوب برنامه مداخلاتی از قبیل برنامه‌های روان‌شناختی نقش مهمی در بهبود رضایت از زندگی در مراقبین داشته باشند
